Most Commonly Asked Questions

If you have a question before your session or about our clinic, see if we’ve answered it below.

Yes, first-time clients are required to complete a medical form to provide their health history and current health status. This helps us to understand your needs and ensures we can safely and effectively tailor treatments to your individual circumstances.

We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing for your session. Loose clothing allows easy access to areas of the body that may need to be treated and ensures your comfort during the session.

It is recommended not to eat a heavy meal before your session. Having a light snack is fine, but a full stomach can make you feel uncomfortable during the treatment and may affect the effectiveness of the therapy.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) can be used to manage a variety of conditions, including:

Chronic pain such as back pain, arthritis, and migraines

Stress and anxiety management

Digestive disorders like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)

Women's health issues including menstrual irregularities and menopause symptoms

Supportive care for fertility treatments

It is important to note that the effectiveness of TCM can vary from person to person, and treatments should be based on a comprehensive assessment by a qualified practitioner.

Acupuncture is generally a painless procedure. The needles used are very fine, and most people feel little to no discomfort when they are inserted. Acupuncture is safe when performed by a trained and licensed practitioner who follows proper hygiene protocols.

Hijama is generally not painful. The incisions made are very small and superficial, and the sensation during the process is often described as a mild discomfort rather than pain. All procedures are carried out in a hygienic environment using single-use, disposable equipment to ensure your safety and comfort.

Yes, we provide convenient on-site parking for our clients. You can easily park your vehicle in our designated customer parking area located directly at the clinic. Note, if there is not space in the parking, please park on Pheonix Drive just around the corner of the clinic.

You can settle your bill using cash, EFTPOS, or a credit card during your visit. If your private health insurance plan covers acupuncture treatments, bring your insurance card along. We use the HICAPS system to process your rebate on the spot, simplifying the reimbursement process for you.
